BUAD 369 Environmental Ethics and Sustainability
This course concerns environmental ethics. The Kantian view of fair and reasoned social discourse will be utilized to investigate the problems of the tragedy of the commons, particularly in the context of Ostrom’s institutional economics. This is applied to possible solutions to the tragedy of the commons including the problems of the global commons.
