Online research presents unique challenges for students as they develop and extend fundamental literacy skills to various media/ This teacher preparation course focuses on internet, a global library system, which has become the largest repository of information. The ability to think critically about online information is often referred to as Web literacy. To be web literate, readers need to become healthy skeptics who develop critical thinking skills to determine deceptions and truths in an increasingly complex world that grows more and more dependent on online information.
