CHEM 353 Physical Chemistry

Survey of important topics in physical chemistry. The first quarter emphasizes quantum theory with applications to atomic structure, molecular structure, and spectroscopy. Second quarter includes thermodynamics applied to phase and chemical equilibria. Third (this) quarter deals with kinetics, transport properties, and molecular dynamics. Must be taken in sequence with CHEM 352.
