SOWK 373 Social Work Practice with Couples and Families

Methods course focusing on the knowledge, values, and skills needed for generalist social work practice with couples and families. The course provides mezzo skill development for work with this special population. Includes theoretical and historical and contemporary intervention models specifically designed for work with couples and families. Students will develop practice skills through lab setting activities, role play, supervision and observation. Course includes practice skills lab.
