3.2.10 Board Observers

(Bylaws)

1. The Board Observers are responsible to University Assembly.

2. The Board Observers consist of one faculty member, elected by the faculty, and one full-time staff member, elected by the staff.

3. The term of membership is two years. Membership will be staggered.

4. Board Observers are responsible for reporting to the University Assembly matters of interest and significance from the Walla Walla University Board of Trustees meetings, excluding executive meetings.

(Procedures)

1. Protocol

   1. The observers attend all Walla Walla University Board of Trustees meetings, excluding executive sessions.

2. Communication

   1. Board Observers will be given a copy of the agenda, materials, and minutes from Board meetings.

   2. Board Observers will present a report of findings at the University Assembly meeting following each Board meeting.
