SPED 330 Professional Skills in Special Education

Provides prospective special education teachers with a foundation in effective assessment and instructional practices. Legal aspects of special education, individualized education plans, roles and responsibilities of teachers, and assessment administration are discussed. Emphasis is placed on issues related to professionalism and ethical practice, including conducting professional activities in compliance with applicable special education laws, policies, and regulations.
