SPED 440 Functional Behavioral Assessment

Focuses on identifying, recording, evaluating, and changing social and academic behaviors of special and diverse populations. Presents methods of assessing student behavior, designing ethical behavioral interventions, and monitoring the progress of these interventions within a multi-tiered system of support framework. Emphasizes procedures for a Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) and behavior intervention planning (PBIS). Offered even years.
