OCC 610 Occupational Therapy Practice and Profession

Foundational information designed to develop an understanding of the field of occupational therapy is discussed, including the history, philosophical beliefs, areas of practice, and roles of practitioners.  Introducing topics to develop an awareness of the professional standards within the Occupational Therapy Practice Framework, professional organizations, professional ethics and values with an emphasis on the Occupational Therapy Practice Framework. Course delivery methods include online synchronous instruction.
