OCC 620L Occupational Performance: Older Adult Skills Lab

Hands-on application of assessments and interventions for middle to older adult practice. Demonstration of task-analysis, therapeutic use of self, and ethical principles to deliver assessments and interventions to address the older adult population. Students will explore application of occupational therapy theory use in the process of evaluation and intervention, models of practice, and frames of references towards the conditions typically seen in the older adult. Course delivery methods for teaching and learning include face-to-face.
