PA 561 Professionalism in Medicine III with Lab

Examines PA professional practice including personal wellness, normal and abnormal development across the lifespan, human sexuality, death, dying and loss, patient response to stress, injury, and illness, and developing healthy coping mechanisms. The course provides professional preparation for the clinical phase of instruction. The lab integrates the practical application of the theoretical knowledge learned in the course. The course delivery methods for teaching and learning include web-based resources, discussion board, collaborative learning, professionalism, and a signature assignment.
