PA 564 Applied Anatomy & Physiology III with Lab and Clinical Immersion

Apply an understanding of the relationships between the structures and functions of the human body relevant to clinical practice. Emphasis is placed on gross, surface, and clinical anatomy, physiology, histology and pathophysiology, and the genetic and molecular mechanisms of disease. Educational delivery is based on organ systems and regional anatomy.  Experiential laboratory learning emphasizes and reinforces the location, function, and anatomical relationship of organ systems and structures that will help with physical examination techniques, clinical procedures, and diseases and conditions commonly found in primary care clinical medicine. Course delivery methods utilize 3-D anatomy virtual software, virtual cadaver, and applications. The course includes an on-campus immersion experience facilitated by program faculty to solidify learning and develop skills and concepts.
