SLP 526 Language Disorders in Infants & Toddlers with Lab

Study of communication deficits (receptive and expressive language to include phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, prelinguistic communication and paralinguistic communication) in infants as well as preschoolers. Topics include associated anatomical and physiological structures, social communication, syndrome identification, assessment; language sample collection procedures; language skills development and early intervention therapeutic strategies.  The lab will integrate the practical application of theoretical knowledge.
