Neuroscience B.S.

Neuroscience is the study of the nervous system and its impact on behavior and cognitive functions. An interdisciplinary field, it draws from biology, psychology, chemistry, and other areas to further our understanding of the nervous system in treating neurological and psychiatric disorders. Students majoring in neuroscience are equipped for graduate and professional studies leading to careers in research, medicine and other health-related fields, as well as biotech and other industries. Students completing a B.S. in neuroscience are also suited to careers as laboratory technicians, health educators, and technical writers.
