Pre-Physician Assistant (PA)

A Physician Assistant (PA) has been defined as “a skilled person qualified by academic and practical training to provide patient services under the supervision and direction of a licensed physician who is responsible for the performance of that individual.” The pre-professional curriculum includes a minimum of 60 semester credits with specific prerequisite courses. Some PA programs require a bachelor’s degree for admission. In addition, some PA programs require the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) exam for admissions.
