TAD 330 Advanced Design & Prototyping

Prerequisite: TAD 130 or permission of instructor

An advanced study and application of engineering design graphics and the engineering design process toward solving various design problems using computer-aided design software. An intentional focus within the engineering design process is placed on the iterative nature of design. This course will focus on mechanical design, simulation, visualization, and documentation housed within a 3D software package. Prototyping will be facilitated through 3D printing, laser cutting, and computer numerical control (CNC) equipment. Course Fee: $10.
