EDUC-907 Field Experience: Introduction To Special Education (EDUC-200)

This is a field-based course that provides the opportunity to explore the theories learned regarding the various types of exceptional children. Students will analyze the various exceptionalities in the assigned classroom and the influence of these on learning. Prerequisite: This course is only available to those students who have successfully completed the equivalent of Introduction to Special Education at another higher education institution but who have not completed 15 hours of field experience as part of that course (EDUC-200). Additionally, permission of Director of Teacher Education is required in order to enroll in the course.
