DMSU 243 Diagnostic Medical Sonography Certificate Program Externship III
This course provides an observation of the clinical duties performed in an ultrasound department as well as basic instruction and scanning experience in abdominal, obstetrical, gynecological, small parts, vascular, echocardiography, and/or other aspects of sonography. Attendance at an assigned clinical affiliate is required. This course is required to complete the Diagnostic Medical Sonography Certificate program.
Prerequisite
DMSU 181 with a grade of C or higher,
DMSU 242 with a grade of B or higher, and
DMSU 282 with a grade of C or higher. Pre- or corequisite:
DMSU 261 with a grade of C or higher
