Course Description

This capstone course provides students the opportunity to apply their data center knowledge and skills by designing and creating a new data center layout for a company. This design consists of floor layout of cabinets, cooling, power, fire protection, and security. Students identify power requirements per cabinet and server, insure cooling requirements, identify backup power requirements, and document the layout and requirements of their data center.
