NP 761 Adlt/Gero PCNP Practicum 1

Prerequisite: NP-760. NP-701 taken concurrently. Pass/Fail, audit not available. This is the first of three primary care practica, which prepare students for advanced nursing practice as Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioners. Students begin clinical practice with master preceptors, and participate in faculty-led seminars. Students begin diagnostic reasoning in a clinical setting and develop beginning level management of acute and chronic illness.
