Curriculum Outline – Master of Science with Concentration in Medical Speech Pathology

(Core courses must be taken for letter grade.)

Total Elective Credits required: 5

Minimum credits required for graduation: 72

 

If students have already completed an undergraduate course in Aural Rehabilitation they must take 2 more credits of electives to reach the total of 72 because they do not take CD 751 Aural Rehabilitation

The practicum committee will inform students about their external practicum course numbers.  If students are placed in their first external practicum in the Summer of Year 1 they will register for CD771 in the Summer, then CD872 in the Fall or Spring of Year 2, and CD873 in the Spring or Summer of Year 2.

Some students will not begin their first external practicum until the Fall of Year 2, in which case they will register for CD871 then.
