DNP-861 Leadership for Nurse Executive

Prerequisites: DNP Nurse Executives Cohort. Audit option available. This course is designed to enhance the leadership competencies, such as leading change, strategic thinking, and resilience, of executive nurse leaders through integration of theory and development of new skills that can be applied to a variety of nursing, healthcare, community and corporate settings. Emphasis will be placed on the nurse executive?s leadership role development and its applied strategic utilization to provide organizational direction, strengthen the profession of nursing, and advance the competencies of future leaders. The course introduces new skills integrated through practice, reflection, and self- and group assessment.
