Bicycle Racks and Repair Stations
Bicycle racks are located by the East and West entrances of the Shouse Building, in the Building 39 Student and Alumni Center vestibule, and at the 2 Constitution Center complex. There is a bike cage on the east side of the Shouse building. All IHP students ID’s will automatically be programmed for access. Riders must provide their own locks. Neither the Institute nor building management is responsible for bicycle security. Students who bike are encouraged to register for the MGH Bike Program. Your bicycle will be registered with your information, you will be given an MGH decal for your bike, and obtain free use of the large bike cage inside the Bldg 199 parking garage and free use of showers. Should a bike be stolen anywhere in the city this information will be available for you and Boston City Police. There are a number of BLUEbike bike stations proximate to the campus. Bikes can be taken out of one station and brought to another. View a map of other BLUEbike stations in the greater Boston area.
Bike repair stations are located in the Shouse building on the East end and also in the Building 199 garage.
