G4. Student and Employee Assistance Program
Students experiencing difficulties that affect personal lives or program performance are encouraged to use the Mass General Brigham Student/ Employee Assistance Program (SAP/EAP) for consultations, short-term counseling, information, and referral.
The SAP is located in Building 39, Room 146, in the Student and Alumni Center, in the Charlestown Navy Yard. Counselors are available on campus two half-days each week.
In addition to on-campus services, students and household members have access to and can be seen in any of the nine Mass General Brigham SAP/EAP offices. The main location SAP/EAP office is at 175 Charles River Park at MGH. Counseling service over the phone is also available at 866-724-4327.
SAP/EAP counselors provide assessments, referrals, and short-term counseling (up to six visits). They can also connect students to more information about Mass General Brigham EAP’s many offerings such as – legal and financial resources, webinars, and online tools to support self-care and healthy life choices, and monthly support group for individuals involved with elder car.
Services provided through SAP/EAP are free and confidential.
