5.5.1. Didactic Year Summative Examinations
Students must be in good standing (not on academic or program probation and with no incomplete courses) and have successfully completed all requirements of the didactic year in order to take the pre-clerkship comprehensive written and practical examinations.
Students must achieve a passing grade of 77% on the pre-clerkship comprehensive written exam. A student will be permitted one opportunity for a retake of the pre-clerkship comprehensive written examination and/or practical examination. Any retakes will result in a delay to the start of clinical rotations by one clerkship.
Failure to pass a retake of the pre-clerkship comprehensive written examination or practical examination will result in referral to SDC for Program dismissal.
