5.5.2. Clinical-Year-Summative-Examinations

Students must be in good standing (not on academic or program probation and with no incomplete courses) and have successfully completed all requirements of the program in order to take the summative written and practical examinations.

Students must achieve a passing examination grade as detailed in the summative examination course syllabus.  A student will be permitted one opportunity for a retake of the summative written examination and summative practical examination. Any retakes will result in a delay to Program completion by a minimum of 30 days.

Failure to pass a retake of the summative written examination or summative practical examination will result in referral to SDC for Program dismissal.
