Removing Courses from the Catalog
The registrar will submit a list of inactive courses to the CCRC each year. Committee representatives for each school will reach out to the appropriate faculty member or program director and report back to the CCRC. The chair of CCRC will report findings to the registrar. Courses reported as inactive will be removed from the catalog by the registrar.
A faculty member, program committee, or appropriate department chair or dean may prepare a written request to be submitted to the CCRC to return a course(s) to active status. The written request should include justification for the reactivation of the course(s). If the course being reactivated has no changes from the previous course, the CCRC will present the proposal to the Faculty Senate for action. If the course being reactivated includes changes from the previous course, a new/revised course proposal should be submitted to the CCRC to be acted upon following the guidelines for approval of new courses.
