JOU 1303 Feature Article Writing

Covers the writing of articles that are not straight news or opinion pieces. Human interest stories, personality profiles, and news backgrounders are among types studied. Students select their own topics, gather information, and write several articles for print and online publication. Skills taught include fact gathering, interviewing, and querying of editors.
