BME 550 Anatomy & Physiology for Biomedical Engineers
Gross anatomy and physiology of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems. Emphasizes understanding of the function of the human body as integrated systems through an engineering lens. Includes discussion of human-made changes to the body. Laboratory experiments will be used to demonstrate key physiologic aspects of the human body. Knowledge of biology and basic physiology recommended. Fee: $50
