Fellowships and Grants
John C. Orr, Ph.D., assistant provost
The Fellowships and Grants program works with students who are applying for major scholarships, such as Truman, Rhodes, Marshall, Fulbright, among many others. The program provides assistance in identifying the appropriate grant for individual students as well as assistance in the writing and revising of the essays that each grant requires. The office also provides assistance for recommenders who are writing letters in support of student applications. The final assembly of the application is often handled by this office. Several of the major scholarships require a University endorsement, coordinated by the Fellowships and Grants program. In addition, students are encouraged to work with the office when applying for any major scholarship.
