Master’s and Doctorate Degree Programs
Admission to the School of Education
The School of Education uses a holistic approach in evaluating application materials. Upon completion of all application materials submitted to the Graduate School, the School of Education associate dean reviews the materials and makes a recommendation to the dean of the Graduate School. The undergraduate cumulative grade point average, along with the appropriate test scores, letters of recommendation, and goals statements are used together to determine a candidate’s preparation for admission to a graduate program. The Ed.D., M.A.T., and the post master preliminary administrator licensure programs also require an interview before admission. All doctorate and master’s degree applicants must meet the specific requirements of the program of interest. Admission requirements for each program are available through the Graduate School.
