This course offers students an advanced review and expansion of grammar, vocabulary and idioms to prepare them for the 400 level courses. A broad variety of activities is used to improve conversational proficiency, accuracy in written expression, and further develop intercultural skills. By the end of the 301-302 sequence, students will be able to recognize other cultural perspectives and use them in interactions in the target language.

Prerequisites
Two years of college French, four years of high school French, or equivalent.
Students further increase listening, writing, reading and speaking skills while advancing knowledge in the geography and cultures of the francophone world. Group discussions, compositions and presentations on cultural topics. Readings of selections from French culture and literature. By the end of the 301-302 sequence, students will be able to recognize other cultural perspectives and use them in interactions in the target language.
