TECH 343 Fabrication and Machining III

Precision layout practices, including selecting and identification of steals, the practices of hardening, case hardening, tempering, annealing, and stress relieving steals. Instruction on hardness testers, selecting and identification of grinding wheels, truing, and dressing grinding operations. Surface grinder and cylindrical grinder, CNC programmable milling machine, including the review of programmable axis and position.  (Course fees apply.)
