TAD 382 Studio in Graphic Design

Prerequisite: TAD 180 or permission of instructor

An in-depth study building on the various methods introduced in TAD 180 to generate, manipulate, and present graphic images. Projects ask students to consider, with greater focus, how different strategies of information presentation can shift our understanding of it. Through studies that may include data visualization and wayfinding, among others, we will learn the ways our graphic representation of content, be it from a dataset or on a sign directing traffic, can significantly change our interpretation of that information. Course Fee: $10.
