General Electives
An elective that can be chosen from any elective category is called a general elective. Depending on a student’s learning program, students may be able to choose courses within specific elective categories or they may be allowed to choose courses from any elective category. Traditional and non-traditional course work may be used to fulfill elective credit, including general elective credit, as appropriate. Electives involve a broader range of courses than general education core courses do.
