MATH-60 Basic Mathematics

Students will improve arithmetic skills and application solving skills. Areas of study include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of whole numbers, decimals, fractions and integers; factoring numbers into primes; conversions between decimals, fractions and percents; ratio and proportion; place value and least common multiples. This course is taught using computer-assisted instruction. Prerequisite: ENGL-093 AND appropriate score on mathematics placement test.
