THET-103 Acting I: Foundations for Acting and Performance

Designed as an exploration of the nature of the performance and the collaborative creative process, this course is an introduction to the art and craft of acting, focusing on the actor's inner and outer resources including physical and vocal response, concentration, imagination, and sensory awareness. This course also includes beginning level work on character creation through improvisation, performance, and script analysis.
