The student newspaper is published on-line by students for the college community. The HCC Times is an independent, student-led newspaper that is committed to providing accurate information for the HCC community and community members in Howard County.
The newspaper's content strategist, staff, and writers work with the many different departments on campus to keep the school population informed about school events, resources, and club activities.
The paper needs student participation in leadership and journalist positions and encourages interested students to contact the paper’s content strategist or a Student Life staff member. Opportunities exist for experiences in writing, photography, desktop publishing, layout and design, and advertising. E-mail address:
