PT-771 Cardiopulmonary Clinical Lab

Prerequisites: Successful completion of all required courses to date. This course will be an intensive skills developing course for the examination and clinical management of the patient with cardiac or pulmonary impairments. Students will develop their skills thru hands-on experience as well as the use of simulation interactive technology. Using medical/surgical cases, students will be expected to interpret the medical history and diagnostic tests and to choose and perform appropriate examination and intervention strategies. Small group interactions will form the core learning experience.
