The graduate will synthesize knowledge and theories from nursing, liberal arts, sciences and other disciplines that will guide implementation of nursing process in patient-centered care for individuals, families, and communities in diverse populations.

The graduate will evaluate theories and practices in order to improve outcomes of patient- centered care provided to individuals, families, and communities in diverse populations.

Through analysis and synthesis of the concepts and constructs which inform nursing practice, the graduate will evaluate healthcare systems to improve the outcomes of care.
