Professional Development
The Faculty of the Entry Level OTD are committed to a philosophy of continuous self-assessment and professional development as an integral part of the learning process within professional education. We believe that professional behaviors, attitudes, and abilities are essential for success as an occupational therapist and that academic and fieldwork faculty serve as mentors and role models within the professional education environment.
Professional development activities, including a professional development self-assessment, will be required of students as part of their program curriculum. The purpose of such activities is to facilitate an understanding of professional responsibility and to recognize opportunities for enrichment, development, and improvement along the professional continuum.
