5. Enroll in CD-895 Research Proposal and Meet Repeatedly with Thesis Advisor to Develop the Project (Summer)

Most often, thesis students will enroll in CD-895 (Research Proposal in CSD) in the Summer of Year 1. Typically, the student meets with their advisor every week or two weeks during this term to develop the project further.  The student works closely with the thesis advisor to select other committee members (readers), and prepares the thesis prospectus document.
