School of Healthcare Leadership

The School of Healthcare Leadership (SHL) formerly know as the Center for Interprofessional Studies and Innovation (CIPSI) launched on January 11, 2011, as a platform for leaders in the health professions to collaborate with peers. Together, they aim to develop new educational systems that will ultimately improve patient care.

SHL’s educational programs extend the Institute’s founding mission to produce collaborative, compassionate leaders in clinical care. SHL programs bookend the traditional first professional degrees offered at the IHP by preparing undergraduates for healthcare careers and supporting lifelong learning for licensed health professionals. From prerequisites to professional development, SHL’s innovative methods of teaching and learning empower you to improve healthcare systems.
