RS 932 Statistics for Health and Rehabilitation Science 2

Prerequisite: RS-930. Building upon the foundation of univariate analytical methods, this course introduces students to more complex techniques such as multiple regression and multivariate statistical methods. With a focus on analyses with multiple independent and/or dependent variables, the curriculum covers common regression models, including multiple linear and logistic models, along with regression diagnostics. Students will also gain an insight into longitudinal and multilevel models, and exploratory factor analysis. Mathematical foundations, including the relevant formulae and assumptions, will be discussed to ensure a robust understanding. Through hands-on application in R/RStudio software, students will engage in data analysis, acquiring practical skills pivotal for health science research.
