HE 710 Health Professions Education Foundations

Prerequisites: Prior master’s level professional training. This course introduces students to foundational principles in health professions education, covering essential elements of teaching, learning design, and the integration of technology in education. The course combines learner-centered instruction, cognitive science of learning, and instructional technology applications to equip students with the skills to design and assess effective learning experiences. By the end of the course, students will synthesize these elements into a final instructional experience tailored to diverse health professions education environments.
