NP 898 Global Health Immersion: India

Prerequisite: Student must be enrolled and in good standing in a Master or Doctoral program within the IHP.  DEN students must be licensed RNs and in the advanced practice portion of their program. Global Health Immersion: India is an “in-country” interprofessional education course that is delivered in Boston and in India. The UN Sustainable Development Goals, sustainability theory, climate change, and global health ethics will be presented with healthcare application and experiences in India, culminating in a scholarly paper. Students will take part in profession-specific clinical experiences. The public health delivery system is emphasized with a focus on interventions that seek to improve social determinants of health.
