3.2 Non-Degree Applicants
Applicants with an undergraduate or graduate degree in a major other than Communication Disorders are required to complete the courses listed in Table 1 prior to beginning graduate coursework. Students with an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders may also lack one or two courses. All pre-requisite coursework must be completed prior to enrollment with a grade of B- or better. The decision to enroll students with outstanding course requirements is made by the admissions committee on a case-by-case basis. All required courses are offered through the online prerequisite program at IHP.

CAA Scientific and Research Foundations of the Profession: In addition to audiology-specific pre-requisites, students admitted to the AuD program must met the scientific and research foundations of the profession required for ASHA certification (listed in Table 2). All pre-requisite coursework must be completed prior to enrollment with a grade of B- or better. Many of these courses are offered through the online prerequisite program at IHP.
