Psychology/Human Development Major, Liberal Arts

Liberal Arts Studies students may select a major in Psychology/Human Development. The major prepares students to apply concepts and theories about the biological, social and psychological maturation of the person throughout the life cycle and provides a foundation for further graduate study.

This major requires:

  • 45 QH including Psychology courses taken as part of the General Education requirement
  • 25 QH of upper level coursework
  • 25 QH of upper level courses must be taken at NLU
  • A minimum grade of “C” for each course in the major
