LAP 516 Research Design

This course offers an in-depth study of research design and methods in psychology and behavioral sciences from topic identification through data collection with a focus on application. Students review approaches for reading, interpreting, and critiquing published research; discuss qualitative and quantitative research design; explore ethical considerations in research; and design an experimental research project that culminates in a formal research proposal.
