PAC 111A Employment Development

Throughout Employment Development A, PACE students begin to identify their individual, specific skills strengths and interests as they relate to a specific field of employment and type of job.  Students hone these skills and strengths through 18 hours per week of off-campus internship.  Students begin to learn how to transfer the professional skills they used in the familiar campus environment to the more challenging environment beyond campus.  Students also begin to develop the skills to self-advocate and recognize and request the reasonable accommodations they need to be successful in off-campus internships.
