PHT 1253 Neuromuscular Therapeutic Techniques I

The intent of this course is to provide knowledge to the physical therapist assistant student regarding neuroanatomy and physiology principles, motor learning principles and normal motor development, therapeutic interventions and techniques designed to provide the most effective functional outcome for the patient, and the following through of treatment plans designed to treat the neurologically impaired infant, child, adolescent and adult.
